Movie posters are dream projects for me—distill a filmmaker’s story to it’s most compelling visual essence while leaving enough space for the audience to want to fill in the gaps.

Marie’s Zero Gravity Bar & Grill is a scifi/action/comedy about a marooned astronaut (think The Martian meets Galaxy Quest) who survives by opening a bar at the crossroads of a bunch of alien societies. Reel Brooklyn Films came to me for teaser posters to help raise funding and market the project to investors. Based on the synopsis, I designed a logo that felt cyberpunk, but a little over-the-top. With that approved, I worked with the Director on tone and—after a bunch of AI exploration—finalized 2 designs, each in vertical and horizontal formats. I even wrote the copy and tagline.
